I made this lemon cake for a recent spring party. Light and airy with an intense lemon flavor--perfect with a light, lemony sparkling wine!
Cleaning out the fridge to make space for Super Bowl chow so made a modified pasta carbonara (with spicy sausage & spinach). Paired with B&G Vouvray.
Marinated chicken & dried cherries in port and cherry & pomegranate juices, then sautéed & tossed with fettuccine. Good but needs more experimenting.
My Very Special Bread
Finished Product - Osso Bucco, garlic mashed potatoes, pesto fettuccine, homemade bread
Simmering Pots: Osso Bucco, Potatoes and Pasta (my meat and carb fest)
Wine pairing at Benihana: Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (2009) and onion soup
